Challenge:
Confront; oppose; question; dare; defy – This is the definition that immediately comes to mind. It is one of those universal tasks that all humans face; no matter what we are doing there are challenges to consider and to face. I often feel graced by God that my challenges are relatively trivial, especially being here and seeing the significant challenges that people here undergo with daily dealing with the basics of water, food, shelter, and health.
I too am entering into a new challenge, don’t gasp or worry I have the basics. My skills are being challenged by entering into Blog Abroad Challenge program, hence the new stamp on my post. This goes hand-in-hand with the importance of the Peace Corps goals to share information across cultures.
We are given 2-3 weekly prompts so there will be more posts than I did previously. Why did I come here? What’s my home like? What is my daily routine? Check-in this week and see.
